Ive used this for about a year and I have found it a great source of info - anyone can contribute - I offered details on my cross streets during a flash flood
Some folks in Colorado post details about their fires... The point is to be connected w locals warning of dangers you may not otherwise know ... Like that dude with the 2wk old bmw that drove right into street covered in 4 of water that had never occurred in that location ... Had he been using this app- hed have known to head s then w (not north!)

Its not just for your immediate vicinity either - there are people all over the world contributing - we get the eyewitness headsup before an event gets a knob and whittled to a point to be spun on the news.... Which I wont watch -

Frankly Im not sure we would need news if more people, especially Americans got on board using a tool like this-

For ease of use, no censorship, immediate access to life or death data I dont know why someone wouldnt have this app!
