the text to describe this app is misleading. You dont save lives with this app. Its another aggregator of late disaster news as you can pull from any other news service (much faster). Its like reading yesterdays newspaper.

This app is the quickest and most reliable source of (weather and earth) news out there!

Good, interesting, well-implemented.

I am doing a project where I have to write 2 pages about an app and create a brochure. There is definitely a lot of things to write about this app! There are many different categories and a lot more. It is incredible how much information that this app give you. If you are doing a project, or want to know about earthquakes, volcanoes, plane accidents, car accidents, land slides, diseases, and much more, then I suggest you get this app!

They just want ur info to get to ur wallet!

This is the most untrustworthy, and too often inaccurate, and ridiculous app that I have ever seen. Ive seen some of the most BOGUS and malicious things reported to be an actual alert! Why do high winds, or a fender-bender, or thunderstorm watch need to reported as a national alert? Many of them dont even say where or when. Could have been a couple hours ago, or a few weeks ago. ANYBODY and their crazy old uncle can "report" whatever they like, with no accountability! DO NOT waste your money subscribing to this. It is a joke! This app WAS a great concept, but now all I do is press the "DISCREDIT" button to help stop spreading out-and-out lies and just flat-out wrong reports. Its too bad that only a fraction of the soundless "alerts" are actually useful. Its about as reliable as Fox News!

I like this app; gives you a world view of whats happening 24 seven. Local news and world news cannot cover everything! Our world is changing so fast day by day, I get the bigger picture with this app.

We all tend to become introspective and forget the world as a whole. This gives new meaning to getting more than you wanted.

Ive used this for about a year and I have found it a great source of info - anyone can contribute - I offered details on my cross streets during a flash flood Some folks in Colorado post details about their fires... The point is to be connected w locals warning of dangers you may not otherwise know ... Like that dude with the 2wk old bmw that drove right into street covered in 4 of water that had never occurred in that location ... Had he been using this app- hed have known to head s then w (not north!) Its not just for your immediate vicinity either - there are people all over the world contributing - we get the eyewitness headsup before an event gets a knob and whittled to a point to be spun on the news.... Which I wont watch - Frankly Im not sure we would need news if more people, especially Americans got on board using a tool like this- For ease of use, no censorship, immediate access to life or death data I dont know why someone wouldnt have this app!

Planet earth is growing smaller with apps like this. This has many ways it may go. Possibilities such as science or music band location and times. Future and historic. I enjoy looking at interesting times in my hand at my convenience. Good app. Reasonable cost.

I turn off my push notifications for this app and Im still getting a notifications

Great App. Spot on!

This couldve a great app but there seems to be a limit to the headline of whatever they are alerting to (cuts itself off mid sentence) Problem is if you tap to read more there is nothing more. Example: "Big terrorist attack in such and such country killing ...." Then no other option to read more about it. Nothing, no links, no more info. Too bad. If thats the best they can do Ill move on soon.

At times I read reports that do not match up with location of report, and the location of the reporter. Also, at times you display nonsense. Do you vet the reports, or do you just display them, no matter whether they make sense or not Outside of these peeves of mine, I like the app, and the purpose of it.

Cannot see any alerts since the new update.

Seems like a great App but it doesnt stick to the location and distance you set. If that gets fixed I would rate it higher

Good application, very good for those who think the end is near. But would prefer more local to me news and dangers

The reports of earthquake activity in Nepal are grossly inaccurate and misleading. Bad system for emergency management
